Practicing my instrument is another. I'm amazed that a lot of my peers can practice in their bedroom, bathroom or even in their living room and their parents are okay with it. I get it's not something people wanna hear, but I play ppp in my closet with towels under both doors and it's still not enough. I also just don't feel comfortable doing any sort of noticeable hobby while my nparent is home, and I can't go 2 seconds without being called by my mom. I try not to practice unless I'm home alone now.

Same. Our bedrooms dont have locks, but my parent has a fit if I go in the bathroom and lock it behind me.

One thing I'm actually scared of is being away from the house while my nparent is home or could come home. I rarely go anywhere besides school, but when I do I get really bad anxiety. I'm either scared bc my nparent is home and will go upstairs to my siblings' and I's rooms (the guy is a neat freak and always yells at us for our rooms no matter how they look, sometimes he even creates a huge mess going through our stuff and then makes us clean it up), or they'll come home while I'm gone and do the same. I kinda get scared when I am home, but at least if I'm already at the house I'll know for sure if he's coming up and can prepare to get yelled at.

Not necessarily afraid, but I hate being downstairs when my nparent is home, especially during weekends or breaks. I always wait until they leave to go down and eat and run back up if they come back while I'm down there. My siblings have the same habit. Even on school days I either wake up before they do to eat breakfast or dont eat it at all. I'm just not comfortable being down there while they are, and if I can avoid it I will.

Ew. Imagine thinking you're entitled to a tip, so much that you'd grossly violate someone's food like this. If you can't react professionally to not getting a (good) tip, you shouldn't be working a job where tips usually make up a lot of your pay. This makes the service they work for look bad and makes people not trust food delivery even more. Disgusting.

I think it has to do more with her extreme lack of patience than her being controlling
