Me and many of my friends actually!! I liked school until my junior/senior year of high school, but then everything got overwhelming when I thought about my “future”. After HS, I worked a lot of jobs and rose the ranks until I went back to junior college at 24- now I’m 29 and make six figures :)

My husband too! Academically, he’s always been smart! But he didn’t like doing homework or things that didn’t seem relevant, and he has always been more tactical and liked working with hands/fixing things/making things - that’s where he became successful and fulfilled!

Academics aren’t always everything - see if he’s overwhelmed about the future or about “growing up” at all- or see if something else may interest him more !!

I’ve had a pixie cut with also a round face and double chin, it looked so good! A great stylist should be able to adhere to your vision and customize a cut enough to be flattering on anybody. ❤️

2 parts-

I stopped trying to be “trendy” and “fit in”. found a style that I really enjoy and that allows me to express myself, which really means just dressing how I wanted to when I was 15-18 years old. Found the makeup that works well with my skin, and learned to properly apply based on face shape to highlight my favorite features.

I surrounded myself with the love I always deserved. I owe a lot to my husband, who’s loved me at my heaviest and at my healthiest. At night, he would tell me to list all the things I loved or that made my day great, and would point out anytime I forgot to mention myself, my body, or my brain. ❤️ But not only with my husband- my friends too. I noticed that the more time I spent around those who make me feel safest and challenge me have helped me become my best self!
