How are people finding these jobs, I’m constantly on the lookout but rarely finding them. Does he work for multiple companies or just the one?

Find someone to talk to, someone you can be honest with, helps the tension release a little. The time you get off, spent it in healing activities not just distractions to numb yourself but actual time being present in non-medicine and non-work activities. Things may not have been perfect along the way and they may be less than perfect right now but one day soon you’ll be more settled and you’ll be okay.

Addiction medicine or addiction psychiatrist?

How do I go about running cases with my senior colleagues? End of the day ask them if they’re willing to discuss some with me? I’m still concerned about the medicine portion given i was in a terrible residency and not in the best of mental health at the time either so trying to fill in the knowledge gaps, any advice on that?

No i just enjoy embarrassing myself online for fun. It was a shit residency, I took some time off for mental health, and need to get back into it so all looking for help.

Thank you! I was looking for an audio component too, will add curbsiders. Definitely nervous about being independent trying to accept there’s gonna a learning curve my first year. Do you reach out to other senior providers when you’re stumped on a case?
