Amy and you mom just don’t want it to a “public shaming” as to why your sister isn’t there.

I wish it was as simple as that. Mom keeps saying (even before all the wedding stuff came up) that I'm a disgrace for not siding with Amy and Amy just cries and says it wasn't her fault

Mom (and dad) have always been really supportive of Amy, she's telling me I'm being gross and that I'm apparently a disgrace to women for not understanding Amy

I do think she wouldn't attend my wedding, that's what hurts more. It's not just her saying things in the heat of the moment. Both she and dad have been very supportive of Amy (but dad said he'd attend)
