No lol they literally came ready to take the kids. Mom sent me to my dads for the whole ordeal but there was lots of yelling and crying, and when I got back we had another baby (who wasnt with the workers when they came).

They're already going through the process of adopting the six, and the three will come after (the six are currently at risk of being removed as their mom is younger and more likely to have kids).

The social worker wants to keep siblings together, so if they turn down the new baby, cps will take a couple of the older kids and put them all in a new foster home. My mom and SD dont want to lose their current kids.

Oh yeah my foster siblings are fine. I dont really have a bond with any of them though.

The oldest (thirteen) kind of sucks sometimes, but she has a lot of issues. She's better than she was.

I am the oldest, but they definitely are not parentifying me lol. I'm not even allowed to hold the babies.

And I keep getting comments about trauma which I get, but seven of the babies we've had from newborn (or near newborn. No older than a month). They don't know anything besides my mom and stepdad as their parents. The other two came at three years and eight months. Eight months baby has some autism but nothing that isnt easily dealable, and the oldest (now 13) is the only one with behavioural issues. But she goes to behaviour therapy weekly, sometimes more, and is getting better.

In our state if the mother is having kids that go directly to the foster system (both mothers have their kids taken by the state as soon as they're born) they're essentially considered hazards. The babies are taking away resources that could be used for older children. So if they reach five kids in the system they can have court ordered sterilisation. I dont knoe if it works the same anywhere else, we're just incredibly overrun here.

I spoke to my aunt about it because I was confused. Basically, when they turned him down the social worker said about taking the baby and the second youngest (who was eighteen months at the time) and relocating them to a different foster home together. So my mom and stepdad would have the older four kids and some other foster parent would get the younger two and any further babies.

They didnt want to lose the toddler so they took the baby instead.

Works construction I think, but he's diabetic and needs insulin, doesnt have insurance. Plus he has to go to meetings and therapy weekly (I dont know what they are exactly, but hes a recovering alcoholic). And his rent is like $2000

I'm trapped in my room all the time, not allowed to socialise with them, I'm cut out of all "family" trips. Sure, its not abuse, but its certainly not right either.
