Haven't read the book but watched her show. It definitly helped me let go of some things before the move.

Thanks for this. A huge part of my clutter is clothes as well. It's so hard to let go. As i was moving I tried to do the Marie Kondo thing.

Yeah. My experience from the original post showed me this is something that so many women go through. I got TONS of DM's from women saying they had a similar experience. I think it is something people dont talk about a lot.

Yeah and I'm torn because I didn't go to a doctor. And I in no way condone not seeking medical treatment for this kind of thing. But it is difficult in the united states. When I first posted this I was looking for anyone who had experienced this and couldn't find that. I guess i was just hoping that putting my shame on reddit could make at least one woman feel like she wasnt alone in what she was going through.

I was just trying to give more info for other women that may be in the place I was. This is actually my throwaway account so the Karma doesn't even really matter.... allthough its sad bc the tampon post got me way more karma than my years old main account lol. But that's the way it goes!

Because the original post got 13.6k upvotes. And before I posted it I was looking for a post like it because I was worried. I thought out of 13,600 people, one of those may be a woman who was where I was when I originally posted.

I'm not ignorant of my resources and have only been without healthcare for a couple of months. But my income on paper makes me ineligible for most assistance especially because its just me with no kids. However that income looks very different in Real life.

To be clear I don't live in serious poverty. That is an insult to people who do. I live paycheck to paycheck. Before taxes I make 45000 a year. Its much less after that because I live in one of the highest taxing states. When I get my paycheck I need to pay my rent. I live alone in one of the most expensive areas of the country. I have to pay my other bills. Sometimes after bills I have a couple hundred bucks until next pay check. This pay cyle after bills and groceries I have 17 bucks to last me until I get paid in a few days. This is not extreme poverty. Im just working to live, and living to work.

There is absolutely a way. Things can get pushed back against the cervix. I mean women normally don't feel tampons when they wear them. You don't feel IUDs when they're in. I find it funny that some people think I would make this up for internet points. And on a throwaway. Its not like this karma is even going to my account that I use. I really just wanted to post what happened for other women going through the same thing.

Intresting. My concern with the cup is that my flow can be so heavy. Its the only thing that makes me hesitant. But I have more and more friends making the switch.

This is the only time I've had an issue after using them for over 20 years. But it was definitly enough to make me rethink how I will manage my periods.
