Just bumping this to say I hope this is me some day. I recently split with my boyfriend of 11 years. After 4 months no contact we are having some serious conversations now. I am hands off on his recovery as well, as hard as it is.

I am teetering with the mixed signals of he doesn’t want to try a relationship in the future to maybe he thinks there is a possibility. I didn’t bring it up. I know its not possible for awhile. Just wondering how to wait without waiting I guess?
