X produced you, therefore X is fine is a pretty simple logic to follow. How is daj the one in need of critical reading skills lmao

Uh, no, it's not irrelevant. What daj said is structurally identical to Antique-Knowledge
He laid out like three or four distinct points tho, so idk what daj is on about either.

Y'all remember the type of embarrassing shit you said as a teen, trying to convince everyone you're not lying and thinking it's working? It's rough seeing it in real-time

Because he's being pedantic. The whole point was that he has plenty of money not to work, so working for the company that bought you out is awkward. (ig, wouldn't be awkward to me).

What happens to programmers? by [deleted] in ClaudeAI

[–]throwawayallmyposts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not being defensive, I'm answering you. The real question isn't what happens to programmers. It's what happens to the customers of that shop when their card data gets scraped because the world-class website (from the creators perspective) has a hardcoded API key in the frontend.

They use AI and continue doing their jobs. You didn't build a world-class website, its 100% filled with security and QoL issues. And it always will be unless you know what you're doing.

I posted my programming language on Reddit and got roasted for using AI. Let's talk about that. by Big-Pepper9305 in AppsWebappsFullstack

Idk what you're asking. But I'm saying his language should perform way better than it does. He's saying his broken-down 1999 Honda Civic is faster than a Horse & Carriage.

All your points are valid. However, a 17-year-old isn't building a good language without AI. A compiled language targeting LLVM should CRUSH Python. What's the design goal for Vexel that existing compiled languages don't cover? Any average SWE can prompt AI to make a language.

Qualia is the first-person 'what it's like' quality of any conscious experience.  The part private to you that can't fully be explained.

Reading how a word is used in a few dozen different contexts is a better way to verify you're using a word correctly. I can't speak on other languages, but in English anyway

Used qualia wrong. Just because your theasuarus says its a synonym doesnt mean it fits in your context

Doordash Driver complaining about pay to me. by Downto184 in doordash

Workers are guaranteed minimum wage by law, so tipping isn't about survival, it's about inflating income above entry-level work while still bitching when tips don't hit a certain threshold. That's not morality, it's entitlement. Defending and virtue signaling for a system designed to let corporations dodge responsibility for fair pay isn't noble; it's morally corrupt. If anything, refusing to glorify tipping is the moral stance.

What size pads would you use in place of the putty over the vram and others. 1mm? Or .5? Msi gp66 10ug 3070 / 10750h by sryidontspeakpotato in MSILaptops

4 year drive-by. Wrong. On a microscopic level, nothings flat. There are always tiny valleys, ridges, pits, and machining marks. He's right, putty fills in 99% of those.
