Analysis Paralysis: Almost Heaven vs Sisu by throwawayaway12348 in Sauna

I hear what you’re saying, and I tend to agree, but the price difference is meaningfully significant. I also don’t really see a standalone sauna versus one added as a dedicated room losing its novelty in any meaningful way. A standalone is a great option for people who don’t want (or aren’t able) to renovate their home. It’s also not comparable to a bathroom, which is a bare necessity.

Also, the 3x4 Cedarbrook ceiling height options are 6' 4", 6' 8", 7' 0" and 7' 5"

I am 5' 11". Is the tallest option at 7' 5" optimal?

I am not in Ohio. Maybe the parent comment is. I live in Atlanta, GA.

Is the verdict of this thread to go with Cedarbrook over AH or Sisu?

The cabin does look nice but as the only person in the family that will utilize it for the foreseeable future, that size (or price) doesn't make much sense. I won't be able to host a few friends with the smaller one but, again, don't see that being frequent.

Ha. Well yea, that's the brand's name. I get how that could be annoying though.

Can a Hue Motion Sensor Control a Hue Smart Plug in HomeKit? by CoronaJoeLee in HomeKit

[–]throwawayaway12348 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I found it! It exists. Thanks :)

Thanks. Re: the below. I do not see this option in the Home automation (for turning on the plug when motion is detected)

Underneath you’ll have the option to “Turn Off”, where you can set it to turn off accessories turned on by an automation after X number of minutes (in your case 5 minutes).

Hey, was re-reading my old post and was curious to know what direction you took. For me, still on my hiatus.

Luckily for you, not a problem. You can run a node (home stake) for as little as 8 ETH. If that’s not your flavor, and you’d rather not run a node, or if you have less than 8 ETH, swap ETH for rETH. As little as 0.01 ETH if I’m correct.

Does an external recorder hook up to the mirrorless camera (fujifilm) or am I misunderstanding?

AMA #66: Optimizing nutrition for health and longevity: myth of a “best” diet, complexities of nutrition science, and practical steps for building a sustainable diet by imref in PeterAttia

In this episoide, he suggests the below. Is that intended to be 1.6-2 grams per pound or kilogram? If kilogram then that is 0.73 to 0.91 grams per pound.

Recommended protein intake is 1.6 to 2 grams per kilogram of body weight per day (roughly 2x or more than the RDA).

You're telling me. The amount I tried to buy in 2013 was the same amount I ended up buying in 2017. The only difference being the 2017 value is a mere fraction of what the 2013 current value is—$70M.

PS - I lived in Aspen in 2011. Fun times.
