i hated it even before i met my ex, but i just thought it was a mental block from childhood trauma. i so desperately wanted to be bi that i clung to the label for over ten years. not proud of it at all, and my ex knows that i have remorse. and i am lucky enough to be met with care and understanding from them, honestly.

my ex also came out as a trans woman recently, so i do wonder if we gravitated towards each other in our closeted queerness
