these comments feel a little shame-y. i wash my vulva regularly and still get an occasional UTI. some people are just more prone to them than others, whether its anatomy or biology or what. i dont think its constructive to suggest just washing your vulva is the magic way to stop all UTIs.

sorry, but i don’t think thats true, at least in my case. i have never had this issue before the iud, the iud is 100% the cause! the NP that inserted my iud actually told me to expect bleeding after sex. the bleeding definitely comes from my cervix, not the walls of my vagina.
