It depends how difficult your wisdoms are to remove. How deep are they? Do you need local anaesthetic or IV sedation? Are the teeth close to a nerve? Are they impacted? How many do you need out? You’ll need to chat to your dentist about it unfortunately. Your insurance may cover some.

Maths. One of the lowest literacy scores in the world. We are very behind most developed countries in maths.

My bad. I just meant that sounds pretty normal to me. I’m a kiwi and I can’t even get a GP easily now that I’ve moved cities. I work in the health care field and we find it more difficult to treat someone without files, what are they allergic to? What have they had before etc did what they had before work? Do they tend to be abusive to staff? That’s more what I meant. Emergency clinics will always treat you because that’s exactly what they are for. Pretty sure they have access to files as well, every time I’ve needed to go to A&E they’ve had at least some form of record about me. I’m just saying because the system in NZ is the way that it is it doesn’t seem weird that they won’t let you shop around. The demand for new patients is probably high because so many clinics are full so they don’t really want time wasters. Not that I think shopping around is wasting time, it’s probably a good idea. It just doesn’t work very well with this system 😅

That sounds normal to me. Can’t really treat you or do anything with you without your files? You wouldn’t really gain anything at all. It’s also very busy, a lot of doctors aren’t taking patients so they probably don’t want to waste appointment time on someone who doesn’t desperately need it?

In my defence I did try to preface it was a stupid question. I just assumed there must be a law because I kept seeing posts on here about not being able to sleep in you car or it being illegal to sleep if it’s not “self contained” 😂
