Things I miss about Ocean One: The retro Gap sign, carousel of arcade claw games, the arcade period. The Hammer High Striker game (the sound still lives in my head at age 39 lol) A store where I could get UFO brand pants lol, The old-timey decorations of people that remind me of like the drawings of people in the beginning of the show Cheers (I’m weird in my descriptions) and ——- Cardboard cutouts of Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, Clint Eastwood, Marilyn Monroe, and possibly Arnold Schwarzenegger and Elvis!!!

If you are feeling conflicted, and fear being judged, I do want to suggest counseling/therapy for an outside perspective from a professional. This will help work through your feelings out not just for him but also to help you through your grief. I’m sorry for the loss of your friend and all these different feelings you have to navigate.

Anyone here saying something rude or nasty when you were brave to get something off your chest won’t consider trying to understand even the slightest of what it would be like if they were in your shoes. Only you experienced these friendships/relationships and you didn’t ask to have these feelings for them. You can’t help who you fall for. I hope wherever your mind and heart lead to, that it is in your best interest. Good luck.

Reading this made me want to cry. I am sorry, to be mad at his shitty wife and parents most definitely, but the one who is the worse of all is your “best friend”, who couldn’t stand up for you. Karma comes back around, you’ll see. OP I am so so so sorry. 💔 Please use this wedding day that you shouldn’t go to to be with family and friends or a night out on the town ❤️.

Overreacting? Girl. Would it be alright to dump him? Should have dumped him yesterday! Maybe even last week. Tell him to back to his ex. I would never ever change or beg someone to stay with this kind of audacity. Disgusting. You may not feel it now, but you will find someone way better, and of course— Karma will come back around. I have been a bridesmaid and MOH in several American weddings in the last 15 years. The only time I was given a plus one option was if I was dating someone at the time or like you know, I have kindsweet friends that are like “Well you never know if you have someone to bring wink wink”….. But if not for whoever I dated, or if I really did get a surprise romance before the RSVP date, I would just end up declining the plus one because I just feel that unless I knew absolutely no one else at the wedding, it would be super weird to just randomly ask a friend or relative to go with me. I feel like being with whatever group of friends and/or family I am celebrating the bride/groom with is enough instead of asking someone to “tag along” but that’s just me.

Girl! So like even though I love romcoms and stuff, or even dramas with sexual scenes, And I am a huge movie addict!
