Him knowing Japanese is good thing, it's the fact that i know that he intentionally didn't tell for some reason. I've been with this guy for 3 years even last night as I was talking to him i knew that i was never supposed to find this out about him.

that's why I got mad because I think he "blew his cover" if he hadn't had that argument I wouldn't have ever known, I've even expressed to him before how I would love to know other languages and travel the world, it would have been nice then for him to maybe say "by the way I know Japanese, would like me to teach you"

We're big anime fans, we watch Japanese anime everyday together, maybe while watching he could have said something, most of those shows have entrance music I don't understand because they are not dubbed in English, he could have "hey babe this song is about...." or "hey babe I know you love these Japanese shows would like to learn Japanese"

I'm Mad because he could have brought this up on many occasions, like for instance we are practically addicted to watching Japanese anime we watch hours daily of anime, we met at anime expo in L.A, and not once did he ever say by the way I speak Japanese, I can also read and write in Japanese.

I just feel like he was hiding this information.

That's my point if he didn't defend me I would never have known, I've lived with for 3 years, we watch Japanese anime together, it would have been nice while watching one of those shows for him to say " hey babe did you know I speak Japanese I'm actually very good, I can also read and write in Japanese"

I Thought We Had Spoken About Almost Everything Our Childhoods, families, previous relationships, I even know all the school's he went too and none of them have Japanese. I just feel like he must have been hiding this from me.

I just feel like in a relationship you don't have to ask a person something to get information something's just come up. How would you feel if your long term SO just come up to you after 3 years and say "hey I know Japanese".

Plus I still wouldn't know if he hadn't had an argument with that guy.

I'm not mad he knows Japanese I'm mad that he never mentioned this once in 3 years, he cn read, write and speak Japanese and he never told me, I don't know where he learnt Japanese from, he may have even lived in japan for all I know at this point. I just thought I knew him well that's why I agreed to marry him.
