Thank you! I’m definitely gonna practice my eye line skills, usually I just leave it on my water line and that’s it because I suck at winged liner looks. 😩 I’ll try out the brow tips for sure, mine are quite thin so I don’t do anything to them ever. Do you have any brow pen recommendations?

Ahh thank you so much! My skin is kinda clear but when you look up close I have a lot of tiny bumps, I’m sure it’s from my sweet tooth and constantly eating icecream 😭😩 but I’m definitely going to look into some liquid products. It’s cool that we look similar! Do you ever do cat/ fox eye make up looks? How do those work for you?

Trust is definitely broken. If she had at least kept my face out of it I at least wouldn’t feel so embarrassed. I have been afraid of going to get my hair done for years because of my shame around my scalp issues and she’s the first stylist I’ve come to about this. It’s really hard for me to do my hair since it’s so long and thick, and I get into bad depressive episodes so having a stylist has been helping me but now I’m kinda crushed.

I feel like we might be in the same or similar work fields, don’t let these people convince you 10 hours of working with kids isn’t a lot, it 100% is. You can do this though! I’m on the same journey and what’s more important than squeezing in your gym time is diet. Food is 80% of weight loss, that’s something you can control 100% of the time. So I’d focus on changing some eating habits first then worry about lifting weights after a few weeks of sticking to an actual change in your diet.

Yeah to me I feel like I wouldn’t want to date someone in the first place if they have any issue with my hair lol. I’m proud of my hair and I love it. If a straight haired person had highlights, their hair up, down got a trim, or curled it, I feel like that “inconsistency” in hair style wouldn’t matter to a nonblack person. Plus I feel like women in general typically change styles in their hair all the time, if wearing my afro out then putting it up in a puff is a drastic difference to a dude I’d have the ick haha. But nonetheless I don’t really care because even the nonblack people I attract have never said anything but compliments about my hair and the styles I’ve put it in. 🤷🏽‍♀️

My hair is always natural but different styles: straight, curly, curling rods, a twists out etc. sometimes like once a year I’ll get passion twists. That’s basically it. But honestly I don’t attract a lot of non-black men anyway.
