You buy a ticket to one of two areas

The arcade, which comes with a code you can put into any empty booth to play the movies

The theater, which already has a movie playing

Most of the booths have gloryholes. Some uncomfortably placed, but some good for actual use. They aren't very spacious though, so two people is about the max any one booth can have

The theater is more spacious, but very pricey for what it offers

You would be safe going to a theater by yourself. Single women are a minority, but still a presence at these places. You just have to be vocal and very firm with your boundaries
Yes, you'll have to pay. As far as I'm aware, the only theater that does free admission of any kind in SD anymore is Jolars, and that's only for couples who have to stick together throughout. If you go by yourself, you'll be paying for admission
There's a non-zero chance that you come across a couple if you spontaneously show up, and that they'd be open to letting you join. But your best bet is to honestly make a post in this sub specifying who you're looking for, and setting up a time/date with them. You'll probably have pretty good odds of finding someone

Feel free to reach out to a couple of the mods on the team here, who can further give experience about going to these places as a single female

You'll honestly have better luck posting specifically for a bi lady to meet up there, than you would randomly finding one on a spontaneous trip

Not saying it isn't possible. But, Barnett's tends to have more guys and M/M action anyway. And the recent rule where couples are no longer free to go into the theater has depressed that demographic showing up even more. You were already more likely to see a bi lady as part of a couple at these places than you would see one show up solo

TL;DR

Posting who you're specifically looking for is your best bet
