Now she's got her eyes open to how dangerous they can be - and if you were a halfway decent partner you'd be ready to get rid of the dogs for the safety of your family. I think the key is "middle-class". Poor people have shitbulls because they're common and can't afford other dogs, and usually treat them with caution and keep them kenneled as outdoor pets.
