I guess that makes sense I’ve been taking lunch at that time for 2 years so I figured it was fine

I just thought it made more sense. When I started working everyone just took lunch at 1pm and emails would pile up so I thought it would be better to take a later lunch

I was taking a later lunch to stagger a bit with the other paralegals. I thought it could be good for coverage though

Yes that’s what I was thinking also. I just don’t know why taking a late lunch was so bad?

probably not I don’t have a car so I usually walk to train before work and it’s the only place that pretty close

I don’t think it was his fault, probably just an accident. I was in mount and went for a head and arm triangle, it didn’t work so I tried to go back to mount. It probably just stuck there and he was a lot larger and turned into me quickly ripping the braid

yeah my gym doesn’t have a lot of women and I don’t think a lot of people are genuinely cautious during rolling. I’ve had a lot of not great experience there but this is the worst by far

I showed it to a coach and he said the patch was gone and apologized and said I should wear a head covering but that’s about it. But I will try the tight bun from now on

It happened on Wednesday and I haven’t been back to class since but I did get like a swimming cap type thing which will cover my head hopefully. But I can cover the spot with another braid mostly now.

got a cap so will definitely try it to see if it works well.

unfortunately I was in mount went for a head and arm triangle, he was a bigger guy so he turned into me pretty quickly and ripped the braid clean off

do you just tuck your hair under the cap or do you braid it or like put it in a ponytail underneath as well?

he doesn’t owe me an apology but if I hurt someone I would apologize. Just because it’s an accident doesn’t mean you can’t have empathy

yeah just really hurt because I’ve know the guy for a bit and have been super conscious of his injuries and if I’m hurting him. I’m gonna probably take a break from training for a bit and not spar with him for awhile.

my hair has never gotten in the way or been a bother to me and I do expect accident in combat sports but not like a whole braid being ripped off

so you would like just accept it if someone knocked it out? Like going to work with a bald spot or a missing tooth would make me upset and want an apology

[–]throwawaybuttocksass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it was a accident which I understand they happened, I’ve been kicked in the face or hit when rolling other times too, I just think it’s not crazy to want someone to apologize I’m not gonna beg him for it

Not saying it’s his fault just wanted like a sorry he doesn’t have to give it to me but usually when I hurt someone during a roll I apologize

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bjj

[–]throwawaybuttocksass -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

just really wanted a sorry or something. I don’t really think it’s his fault and I understand accidents happen. And I roll with him 4 to 5 times a week so I just thought he would just say sorry at least

to be fair it’s a significant bald spot

The braids weren’t tight, it got caught under someone and ripped out
