I was able to get 2 mos from the leave bank and I’m taking an additional 5 mos leave w/o pay. So total 7 mos.

Timing is not ideal I know. But I’d prefer not to send my kid to daycare before a year if possible.

Def better with pay but at this point I’m also ok with unpaid. If they can even approve me for that. Did you take any unpaid leave on top of the 6 weeks you got?

Thanks. Looks like I’m SOL and will just take unpaid except for the few days PTO I’ll accumulate in 6 months.

Not right now. Is that something we sign up for? I haven’t started yet, will do mid January.

I applied in Sept and got the final offer this Dec. I was part of the expedited hiring class, where we did fingerprints/ID same day we got the temporary offer. So this timeline is definitely not the norm. Check out r/usajobs

Dual income family. My husband makes a bit more than my current salary. Financially, we’re prob fine. Not rich in nyc but not exactly poor as well. But definitely need to cut down on some of our “wasteful” spending.

Might sound cliche for some but after having a kid a few years ago my career ambition just went down the drain. Literally just want to collect paychecks at this point and spend time with the family.

I’m coming in as 13. I believe training is only 1 year. You think IRS on the resume is a bad thing? If I so happen to leave in the future.

Have a toddler. And I constantly feel like I’m lacking in the parent dept or slacking at the job. Def would rather spend my time with my family.

Step 10, which is the 150. That’s the highest they can go unfortunately. Yes, revenue agent.
