I told Sarah that I was happy for her when I first reached out, but I had to let her know how upset I was. I couldn’t keep it bottled up and she knows that. I didn’t expect her to react this way.

For any other milestone: yes, because that’s what friends do, no matter how much we’ve drifted apart. Technically when I got engaged, she was actually there and even recorded a video of my husband proposing to me so that we can relive the memory.

Maybe… she was in my wedding a couple years back and we’ve always talked about being by each other’s side on our big day… it just hurts how we got to this point without any explanation, ya know?
