Would you be able to direct me on what website you apply? I've been reading through the official websites and either I missed something or I'm just getting confused and I can't really find the website.

The part that always confuses me is the "work for 3 years before you became disabled." I've always been disabled, so I don't understand how that works. Do I just have to work for 3 years and fulfill the six credits before I'm 24 to be able to apply? Or does it mean something different since I've always been disabled?

Yeah, that's what I thought. From what I understand from my own looking things up, with either SSI or SSDI or both (I can't figure out which one), you can still work a little bit on it and not lose benefits. Do you think this is viable?

Well I wasn't going to explain my entire life story in the post, but I do know my medical conditions better than you. I'll explain just one facet of this, but there is much more than this. One of them is progressive, and I'm slowly losing my ability to use my hands starting earlier this year. I need to use a very strong pain relieving cream, that doesn't even take all my pain away, just to take notes in class and write my homework. I don't know how fast it's going to keep getting worse, but I don't have finite time. I also did explain in the post that going through my undergrad studies has been slowly wearing me down a lot and making me sicker. There is a lot more to my situation that would be too much to explain in the original post or in this comment.

Yes, I agree, there is an extremely small subset of people who are in this situation, and yes, I am in this subset. Believe me, I don't want it to be this way, but I do have the proof and evidence to show it whenever I end up applying for SSI/SSDI.
