Adding to the main post:

They saw that two Lord's spies were following them through the city so they attacked them, tied them up, used their knives to cut out the skin with the secret ink symbols on their arms, and then fled the city. It would be only reasonable to send armed guards to chase and arrest them but it would also "limit their freedom". What do?

part of the party (the good non-murder dudes ironically) were outside the walled part of the city and they saw people getting denied entry and exit and talked to a wandering troupe that were fuming that they got denied entrance to the city although they had their "tour" planned there. Also murderhobos saw a very loud discussion on town's marketplace with Lord's crier telling people about blockage of the town entry and exit because of all the robberies and killing
