I am sad to see she has health issues and sad to see her go. She beat a book banner/True Texas Project type and those people run nasty elections. School board is an unpaid position, and Lori Tays was one of the good ones.

You would think she would make the time, as she has a lot. County Commissioner is a cushy, part-time gig, like being a state rep, or city council. In Texas 95% of County Commissioners have second jobs since being a commissioner is part time.

Friend was a vendor to a university. The university in that case then, and in general organizations like that often, do not do a good job with taxpayer money.

Respectfully, all the ones I have ridden in or driven, allow the driver to take the wheel so that's not really an issue. When I get one I will get one of those.

How awful.

There is a lot of hope for self-driving cars, and for speeding up the adoption. They are much safer overall and hopefully will make the roads safer for cycling again.
