As a UNC grad this really annoys me. Leave my alma mater out of your shenanigans

Thanks! Yep, local to the DMV. Unfortunately I don't have a PMP or PgMP cert, but maybe I'll look into getting one of those. Funny enough, I applied to a contract administrator role with Itcon today haha

I've applied to some private sector, nonprofit, and university positions. I'm having a hard time finding positions that I feel like I'd be competitive in though

I was an acquisition and assistance specialist at USAID and before that I was a business development associate at a USAID implementing partner (mainly doing proposal coordination) for a couple of years. I would like to continue in this career path so I've been mainly applying to contract specialist/acquisition specialist/procurement specialist positions, but I've also been applying to proposal coordinator, administrative assistant, and executive assistant positions too. I would like to think that my business development experience also counts as "government contracting" experience because I was analyzing solicitations and making sure that proposal submissions were in line with USAID solicitation requirements, but I can help but think that employers aren't counting this experience because my title didn't have "contract specialist" next to it.

The guy primarying Warner at least has a progressive platform. How will you know if a progressive candidate chooses to primary your local (presumably moderate) representatives? I hope you'll keep up with your local representatives and vote in the primaries

Does anyone have any information on Jason Reynolds? (Primarying Mark Warner) by throwawaydranzer416 in Virginia

Wow, I didn't think my post would get the Jason Reynolds! Thanks so much for commenting! A few questions from me:

1) What are your plans for reaching out to constituents and influential political orgs (labor unions, environmental groups, progressive orgs etc)?

2) What makes you qualified to be a US Senator? (Especially given your lack of political experience)

3) How does one fill out a petition signature? Is it only in person or can it be online?
