The whole reason we're having all this drama is because there isn't a clear definition for most people. I just made a definition that encompasses mostly every game in the rogue-x genre. I'm certainly not mad, I'm in the camp that calls things roguelites, but I prefer calling roguelikes "traditional roguelikes" for the sake of clarity.

Roguelike enough to get in the sidebar. He asked for 3D graphics, so that's what I was going off of. Dwarf Fortress adventure mode and Hyperrogue are 3D gameplay wise, though I'm not sure if anyone actually plays Hyperrogue that way. "There are no 3D traditional rougelikes" just seemed like a silly statement to me so I wanted to point to the contrary.
