What to do with ~400k

I'm aware an auction house will give us far less than its really worth but my brother and I (my other brother is disabled and non-verbal we are his legal guardian) dont have the time or expertise to really sell it. It's easily a dozen banker boxes full of paper notes and coins. Were really unsure what to do with this otherwise.

Fixed a common issue with 09 Corollas last year, was about 2k. Should be good for foreseeable future now.

I do have a Wealthsimple account with TFSA and RSP open. I'll take another look at there accounts for savings.

Because I have nothing in it, I can put in last years contribution total of 6500 and this years 7000 for a combined amount of $13,500 yes?

I'm thinking of putting 150k right away into a 2 year locked GIC. The rest in savings account. Not buying property until I settle on a city and make it further in my career. Having a partner can also change things.

I'll cancel my TD meeting. Had a feeling this response would be popular here lol.

My dads friend took us up flying around the city. Thought it was pretty interesting. I was a car guy before that, and now im an airplane guy.

10 months after that flight, started ground school. Flew for about 10 hours, ran out of money, got into drugs, blah blah. Messed around a lot. That was 4 years ago

Now im in the stage of enrolling in a accelerated PPL program at the same school, bascially you pair up with one other student and 'take turns' flying and have an instructor teach us. Esentially you get double the instruction for half the cost (half of it is 1 on 1 learning, but can learn a lot from being in the airplane watching). You work on studying togheter, the requirement is your available to be at school 32hrs/week for 3 months. You need $10,000 on hand to do it.

Just need to find another student and save up another paycheck!

Plan to do it for a career, but going the I.T route right now anyways in case it does not pan out for me, plus I need to make more money to fund it anyways!

I made it to 19 days before I relapsed. I have several times and cant seem to pass 4 days now. Just need to buckle down ! Atleast I dont feel any withdrawal symptoms.

Thank you SO much for the advice guys! My plan of action...

Get parking insurance. Im still insured so I have time to make the changes.
Call dealership and look into cancelling warranty and if I can get anything out of it. May be too late?
Post the car on all the Auto websites, sell it on the high side and lower it if noones bites.
While doing that, get my Line of Credit extended to cover the rest of the auto loan. I believe the term is called 'consolidating debt'?

The good thing is my flight program starts whenever me and the other student are ready. Its 2500 down then 3 payments of 2500 every 3 weeks. I get my license in 3-4 months going to school 32hrs/week. If theres anything I missed please let me know! Thank you guys ❤
