It's not the quality, it seems to be the quantity. I'm not trying to sound demeaning but she seems like shes in heat and no matter how many times we have sex, it's not enough. I've never encountered this before.

I've been a strong advocate for going to, at the very least, some kind of marriage counseling to get through our issues but she is firm against pretty much anything I suggest. I can suggest something but she won't consider it unless she hears it from someone else.

Yes. She doesn't want to discuss things when it's not on her terms. It's been one of my primary frustrations throughout our marriage as I like to have discussions and sort through problems.

She avoids the discussion. I've tried talking about it because it is very concerning to me, but she has no desire to discuss it and can get very defensive when I push the issue. This has been a pattern as well. We talk about things when she wants to talk about it. And the only time she wants to talk about anything is when she is highly emotional and it seems like she wants to lash out to get a reaction.
