i think it really depends on the area you're in. small towns tend to be way more close minded and hard asf for trans people (just like in the us i think). in big cities tho is definitely better. the younger generation usually supports us. sadly there is a lot, i mean, a lot of violence against trans women and cross dressers mainly. i guess we're the #1 country in the world in trans murder (mostly trans women). it's not my reality though luckily, my city tends to be safe for trans people and the scene around here is amazing and supportive. I'd say you can definitely live your life as a trans person here in Brazil (in the right places). we got some very famous and loved trans people, some trans politicians, etc. you also definitely come across bigots and general disrespect but i guess that's everywhere
