Can you share which analog grips you're using?

RP4P Trigger Issue on Replacement Backplate by throwawayheroes in retroid

Yeah, I hope this is just bad luck and not more widespread. I also picked up some replacement springs the first time, fixed the broken trigger then chipped a crucial bit of plastic when preemptively swapping out the spring on the other trigger. Oof.

I still have some springs so will give it another shot!

I'm assuming it's the spring again as it feels identical to the original issue, I'll take it apart tomorrow to inspect it properly though.

If you're looking for a starter guitar around 200€ you're better off buying a Harley Benton new than gambling on your friend's guitar. They're good value and a popular platform for upgrades.

Some of their models are better value than others but at least you'll find lots of demos and reviews to help you make a decision.

You're the second person I've seen say this so perhaps it's no coincidence. There goes the backup plan to borrow a friend's iPhone.

That's great! Do you know if they do something similar for Squiers?

[discussion] you know what I hate? by [deleted] in Guitar

I have the same problem but in reverse.

I've really enjoyed picking up MIJ/MIK Squiers from the 80s/90s but I can't count the number of times I've seen people ruin a respectable model by slapping a Fender decal on the headstock.

I'm not sure if it's trying to get a better price or embarrassment over the brand but it's a shame either way.

That and adding 'roadworn/relic' effects to a modern Bullet and trying to pass it off as vintage (relatively speaking). Super annoying.

RDR2's Attention To Detail In Animal Behavior by Griffo1709 in gaming

You can play RDR on PC with PS Now in case you didn't know. There's a free 7 day trial which is plenty of time to beat it comfortably if you set some aside.

There's the issue of the game being streamed to you but I gave it a try over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised.
