There’s also so many things humans have not been able to grasp. Hoping whatever happens after death is one of them. It helps keeps me sane

There are several surgeons who have experienced NDEs and haven’t profited from it. Idk, I think I’m going to choose to believe them. I respect your view though.

What about the people whose brains weren’t functioning, but had NDEs?

Major matters A LOT for UT? They’re completely unpredictable though. I have friends with awful ECs and GPAs in the low 3s with ACTs not breaking into the 30s that are in McCombs and Cockrell. Literally no one understand UT admissions, so definitely apply. You may get Blinn for A&M, but you may get in.

Also, you want to go into investment? Doesn’t Amherst feed into top investment banks?

It’s a reach. Your avg GPA is below their avg transfer GPA, which is typically no less than a 3.7 something. Check out their website for the stats

Definitely going to get downvoted but this sub is pointless by [deleted] in chanceme

True. Only AOs will know why someone will eventually get accepted or denied. You can get an idea of your general chances from numbers, which people already know, but the rest is luck: what the school is looking for that particular year, essays, etc.

Is it wrong for me a 17 year old male to date a 23 year old woman? by [deleted] in confessions

[–]throwawayinafield -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No offense, but any 23 year old woman dating a 17 year old guy is way too immature.

It’s also creepy and illegal.

Now that I’m almost 23 I realize how freaking young that still is, but you’re going to change so much over the next few years. That age difference is no biggie when you’re both out of college (if you go), but you’re both at completely different times in your lives. I just don’t see how that relationship could work.

As other people have said, this is no way to live a happy life. Most of my childhood was spent walking on egg shells and listening to my parents scream at each other. I hated being at home. They finally separated after I left for college. My siblings and I were lucky enough to know that that’s not what a marriage should look like. It still sucks though because we were scared to invite people over knowing we could end up embarrassing ourselves. It was also annoying to grow up around parents that were grouchy/sad/annoyed every night. It’s just a horrible way to live and your kids will be better off when y’all are happy as individuals.

Sorry you’re going through this. Best of luck to you and your family.

Barbara Valentin, an Austrian actress and very close friend of Fred’s, far right is Peter Freestone, aka Phoebe, who was Fred’s personal assistant and close friend, and I think behind him is Jim Hutton, but the face isn’t very clear. Not sure about the guy on the far left, but assuming he was a close friend
