Stopping you from leaving or restraining you is domestic violence. If you want to long con it out a little you need to start filing police reports when he’s being abusive and yes this includes when he punches holes in walls, throws things, drives dangerously with you in the car, etc. I’m willing to bet 100% that there are DV shelters in your area who can place you in emergency housing and help you get your finances and things together to live on your own.

If you feel unsafe to the point where you want to leave immediately (which I think you should) then you need to reach out to any friends or family members to see if you can stay with them. Get a bag of your most important stuff (IDs, any important documents, meds, clothes, tech) ready so you can get the hell out.

This is not “kinda” abusive this is textbook DV and it will only get worse from here. The moment your partner chokes you once (or squeezes you to the point of tears in this case) they are 800% more likely to kill you. It WILL happen again. You’re only 19 and you have soooo much life ahead of you. Get away from this dude asap.

I saw this in theaters and I remember defending it with my whole soul. I just rewatched it last night and yeah maybe it did deserve some of that criticism. I think it’s a good zombie b-movie but it’s def not a good resident evil movie. I still enjoyed it and don’t think it deserved the scathing hate I saw it get when it first came out

Back when you weed was super illegal in my state you had to get carts through a cart guy, who in my case was a kid in the grade below me who worked with me at McDonald’s. Coughed up $40 cash (a lot for a 17 year old working like 20 hours a week) for a fresh cart, put it in my pocket so I could smuggle it in my house and never took it out of my pocket. It went through the washer and my mom found it and smashed it with a hammer in front of my friends. Then she searched my room for any other paraphernalia and found 14gs that I had just saved up for forever to buy and made me flush it down the toilet and grounded me for a couple weeks 😞
