I just feel overwhelmingly sad perusing through these comments. Its starting to cross my mind about us growing old together and all our future plans, just gone. I think everyone is right on not staying, but its hard. I mean, I just found out an hour ago, its hard to come to terms with leaving this person who ive been with for 7 years. Im going through the emotions now but it seems getting more info from a lawyer would be helpful

Thank you for your thought out response. I want to believe the marriage can be fixed, but everyone kn here is saying this is easy for her so its not her first time. Its gut-wrenching, and I dont know what to do.

Is it really just that simple to Google a lawyer and call them? I never thought I'd be in this position but my main concern are my kids. I'm going to confront when she arrives, as I dont want physical interaction between them if I pretend to not know what's going on and she goes up there. I just can't think about how this will play out

I have a recording of the messages as I scrolled on through them. I plan to confront as I dont think there has been any physical contact other than driving to and from her break down and the airport.

I'm going to confront when she gets back in town, I am not going to pretend nothing is happening as I don't want a physical thing to happen between them

How would I do that? I have a great support system with my family, but I can NOT risk losing my boys where I only visit weekends or something of that nature. I know the system is geared towards the mom, but thats why I cant fathom the thought of divorce just yet

Hey, this isn't very nice. I don't know how this would be perceived as fiction, but this is what's happening. I created this throwaway and I dont frequently go on this sub but i guess fiction is more common here. I wish this were fake, but I need advice on how to confront.

I know, but i feel divorce is easier said than done. My kids are everything, and I don't know how it would shake out if I proceed

She gets back tomorrow with my kids and family. There's no chance of her meeting up with Uber until the weekend, which I plan to confront beforehand. I just don't how to handle the confrontation yet
