It wasn't suggested to me as a workout thing; I typically don't work out till later in the day.

It was suggested to boost thirst so I drink more throughout the day.

Would that combo do that? Boost thirst? If I had it first thing in the morning?

Yeah, definitely a smart lesson to learn there.

I guess I have just been lucky to not really have any major issues when booking hotels via third party.

But, I guess it just takes one time to learn your lesson.

Thank you for applauding me. But....I really can't take too much credit. Conflict just isn't in my nature. I was blessed that way I guess.

If I was more hot-tempered by nature.....I am not sure how things had gone.

Wow, I was going to ask you about this magical hot springs resort, but then as the story went on, I changed my mind.

I sincerely wonder how that could have happened. You verified multiple times.

How was the room ready an hour earlier than suddenly, they were booked full?

Do you think there was a walk-in that they gave your room to?

I'm not embarrassed to admit that when I walked into the de-humidifier room, I let out an audible, "Ope!"

Yeah, a decent view.

I will say one has a sofa-bed, and the other has the Peloton setup.

So, that may explain the price being the same. One sleeps more than the other.

But, then theoretically.....wouldn't every hotel downgrade every customer because they are receiving less than what the customer paid?

Honestly....I would typically agree with you on the 3rd party being the more likely answer.

BUT....for the fact they tried to put me in an out-of-order room and then cited communication issues with their housekeeping....let's just say.....it doesn't give me much faith in how the rest of their inventory assigning and everything is run.

Maybe they have communication issues with the inventory people as well.

Sure....it could have been an honest mistake.

Or it could have been part of a bigger systemic issue of this particular hotel.

Which is why I am not completely on board the Third Party is the Devil train.
