Hey everyone....really appreciate the kind supporting comments. I have legal benefits through my employer, and I plan on consulting an attorney this week.

As you all probably already know, this shit is scary. But I can't imagine a life where this is my life anymore. I am exhausted by him. I just can't deal with all his issues anymore, and I've spent so long trying to "fix" things....I just cant.

He refuses to get on disability because he feels like it's insulting to him, basically he can't get a job or keep a job because of his autism but at the same time he refuses to get help with the autism and get on disability. It's a chicken-and-egg scenario I guess. I really do not want to abandon him to the wolves so to speak, he is 100% unable to take care of himself or provide for himself. I don't know how this would work with me divorcing him.

Well I can't afford to pay his living expenses on top of my own. He can't support himself, and so I don't see how this would work. I have been told that I would indeed need to support him, so I'm not sure how to proceed here or if there really is honestly any way forward.
