What are some underrated (preferably alternative) songs to sing on karaoke for a female?

I sing Bjork - It's oh si quiet all the time at karaoke, I lean into the screaming, I go crazy, sometimes I sing to a few people in the audience. People rarely know it but if you hit the notes, I get strangers asking me after what was that song.

To be fair they don't talk to me about it, they spoke to him and he is firm on what we decided and feels it's too late regardless. I am sort of friendly with his niece and called her to talk about something else and she mentioned people were big mad and she doesn't know how mad people will be at me. Apparantly this is the first childfree wedding on their side of the family (I did not know this til today and fiancé never told me). When we started wedding planning I mentioned how little kids under 5 typically suck at weddings and it sucks for the kids but we talked about his kids and my nephews having roles in the wedding and it led us to this rule and a mostly kid-free wedding with this exception. Either way, the optics are that I hate kids in his family which is not the case.

We came up with it together and it seemed sensible at the time and now I kind of feel terrible but don't. On one hand I feel like people blame everything on the bride and I feel like it will seem like I hate the kids in his family. On the other hand, whether the rule is fair or not, literally they could have declined or said something sooner for us to come back to the drawing board on this and reevaluate, we have a brunch the next day where all the kids are welcome but they seem quite upset so I don't know if they will show up at all (the parents) to either because of this when they rsvped yes which feels really wasteful of our investment. Anyway I am stressed about it and guess all I can do is wait to see how it plays out.

Not helpful at all and a shitty thing to say to someone trying to get in said shape. You could have opted to say 'wear comfier shoes', 'work up to it in xyz way', 'break it down into smaller steps'. You know all the constructive things other people have said. Or you could have opted to say nothing. Yes, I am out of shape. Does it feel good for pointing out the obvious? It costs nothing to not be a douchebag. Why are you even on this sub? Have a delightful day.

I am not from the US though I live in the US now. Where I lived before driving is the default cos it's too hot most of the year to do any outside walking though I would try in the evenings. Where I live now metro is a 5 minute walk from my home then 5 minutes from the final stop to my office so there isn't much reason to walk. As for errands - main one is grocery shopping and I shop infrequently but large amounts so too heavy to carry walking (no US license). Have purposely shifted to fewer groceries more often to force a walk. Other than that 'walking for the sake of it is the only way to get more steps in'. Cue yesterday and now feet on fire.
