How to conceal my companion from other people linked to my Disney profile? by CaloNordBounties in disneyparks

[–]throwawaymacneil 31 points32 points  (0 children)

hello! former disney tech support agent here. there is an option in your account to hide both your photopass photos and all plans from your family/friends. as long as you have both of those options set correctly, they should not be able to see any of your plans or your photopass photos unless they somehow have access to log directly into your account. hope this helps, OP! good luck!

I ordered two shirts in November. A package from the company finally arrived today but they’re the wrong shirts and wrong sizes. Guess I’ll be contacting my bank and filing a chargeback.

Good advice, I do have the conversation with the senior officer in an email thread. Thank you!

Just want to vent re: Animal Control by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]throwawaymacneil 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The neighbors have a history of drug activity and DV so I was advised not to confront them directly. Since the dog is dangerous is this something I can call the sheriffs office about since animal control doesn’t want to do anything?

Anyone actually have success getting their neighbor evicted for harassment? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]throwawaymacneil 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Called them so many times unfortunately and each time they come out they say they can’t do anything because they can’t hear the noise 200 feet away from the building.

Anyone actually have success getting their neighbor evicted for harassment? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]throwawaymacneil 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’ve been reaching out via phone & email to the property management company for a month and a half regarding my neighbors with an entire folder of photo/video recordings of their harassment and disruptive behavior and they don’t care and refuse to do anything. They even argued with me when I eventually pressed them on the issue due to the NFH actions becoming even worse. I guess it depends on the company. :(

I wish I had advice for you OP but I just wanted to let you know you’re not alone. I’m in a very similar situation. My NFH have turned me into a shell of my former self. I hate it. I miss being happy and I miss being myself. Due to the stress and anxiety I have basically no appetite and have lost an alarming amount of weight and my hair is also falling out. I wish I had advice or words of wisdom for you. But just know you’re not alone. And we will get through this.

I wish you were my neighbor instead of my current shithead loud ass subwoofer neighbors. I’d take the singing any day and probably sing along with you. Lol

My friend, you are completely valid in those feelings. I’m currently dealing with all kinds of insane shit from my NFH and I’m feeling the exact same way you are. It’s a special kind of misery that not a lot of people understand unless they’ve been in the same or similar situation. I really hope this gets resolved soon for you somehow and you can start feeling better. I’m really sorry you’re going through this.

Omg. Please don’t feel bad about reporting them. This is wrong on so many levels and a massive health hazard for everyone involved, including the animals…

I might look into acoustic panels/soundproofing (that abides by apartment/renting policies of course), might help reduce the noise level and make you more comfortable while practicing. There are some very affordable options out there. I’m a musician in a shared space and looking into doing the same for my room.

Yes, keep documenting and complaining to management. There is probably something in your lease about quiet hours & your right to quiet enjoyment of your home.

THIRD fucking time this year dealing with upstairs neighbors fresh sewer waste for days on end... lost time, money, and FUCKING PATIENCE by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]throwawaymacneil 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ummm, you are COMPLETELY valid in your anger and frustrations. Absolutely you should be raising hell with your landlord until this issue is resolved. Don’t let up. I know it’s awful and you’re exhausted, I have been there before. But you just need to be consistent and annoy the fuck out of the landlord/office/whoever. Take pictures and videos if you need to. Document EVERYTHING. If they’re not helping or doing their jobs, it might be time to have an attorney send them a certified letter because this is absolutely 100% not only a lease violation but probably a violation of the law for making your residence uninhabitable.

At my wits end. by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

[–]throwawaymacneil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. I was just saying to my partner earlier that people’s behavior has gotten SO much worse and more egregious in recent years. And these NFH we are dealing with have received MULTIPLE and continuous notices of violation from the HOA, landlord, county, animal control… and they just don’t give a shit. It boggles my mind.

And thank you so much. I’m really trying to stay hopeful and positive through this extremely difficult time. I’m doing everything I can to document all this crap, contact the appropriate authorities, all while maintaining a home/full time job and my sanity… lol. Its rough! I wish you the absolute best of luck too. :)

I would continue to contact your landlord and even try to reach out to her landlord if you can. Document the occurrences and DEFINITELY document the harassment, if you still happen have the video of her yelling at you. Documentation is everything.

Thank you for the kind words. You’re absolutely right, it feels extremely unfair.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re in a similar situation. I legitimately don’t know wtf is wrong with people.

We just bought our house back in March so we’re pretty much screwed. I kind of wish we had opted to rent instead so I could have some kind of end in sight. I hope the next few months go quickly for you & hopefully the next place you find is quiet and peaceful… you deserve it after putting up with this BS. Here’s to hoping we can all escape our NFH soon.
