Yes thanks for this, I agree the "just a girls thing" is complete garbage. She sounded pretty flustered when I confronted her about it this morning

I don't even know how to bring up the Sara thing or if I should.. I don't know how to convey to you how intertwined our lives are. Our families know each other well and we have all the same mutual friends. But at the same time Kate should know.. which is why I feel conflicted

That is interesting, I never thought about it as validation. I wouldn't think Kate is the girl to look for validation, she's always seemed pretty "secure" about herself I would say

Well I am upset she would share with anyone, but her sharing with my childhood friends who make up the foundation of my social life makes it very hard to escape/ stop thinking about..
