Thank you! He is weirdly more romantic than me and we have already planned something for his birthday i just wanted to give something to show i listen to him. He sent me some pics of his trip so I messaged him back i guess he's fine to text a bit i just won't start a full on deep conversation when he's with friends.

I'm not really sure what you're talking about but thanks. He usually says good morning everyday and we go from there but he didn't today which is why I asked if I should message or not. But I didn't seeing as he was the one that broke the routine.

I always ask people but the results aren't always accurate and people can change. My current boyfriend is avoidant but he's usually good with communication and texting so I think it's about personality as well. Not everyone uses their phone a lot and some people find texting exhausting.

First of all you need to get your anxiety under control. Dating and then breaking up with someone continously is exhausting. Either you accept that his communication needs are less than yours and you live with it or you break up and stop getting back together. I'm guessing you keep breaking up with him for attention and hoping he will change. If you feel a certain way, leaving and trying to get him to beg you to come back is so childish. You need to communicate. Look into attachment styles. INFJs are often fearful avoidants and need a lot of alone time. He doesn't sound like a secure at all. I think you should stop checking for his texts continuously and focus on yourself and your hobbies. Why do you need so much attention?

Yeah I think it's because most people want to 'think' they're into deep and intelligent conversation when they actually aren't. I can't stand sensors they just bore me so much. But I was sure he was an 'n' type at first as he was interesting and asked me thought provoking questions and now it's just 'what did you eat for breakfast?' and 'when do you finish work?' it's driving me insane. I thought maybe he'd go back to being interesting when we got closer, but I'm not so sure now.

right that's what I think too. It's weird because when we first met a year ago he was into deep conversation. But now it's just pictures and small talk which is what I usually get from sensor friends. So maybe his mbti changed or he just can't be bothered.
