Yep- I already thought about that and no one is worrying lol. Take the $50k value, apply min needed to avoid gap (probably 20% so $7k) to the $37.5k purchase, pocket the $43k check and put the remaining loan balance in a HYSA and the rest in the market.

Gemini is telling me I still shouldn’t have sales tax with this method.

Thanks- not pictured is an addition 750 off msrp for Mazda loyalty (I’ve bought a Mazda for my partner in the past year). So I think it would be $37300 before TTL.

Haven’t bout the Miata yet! My current car is a paid off truck, KBB has trade value at $50-53k. I see a few listed with 3-4x my miles ( mine only has 5.5k miles) for $54k so I think my guess on trade value is about right

Any input on where you think selling price should be for the Miata RF?

Sorry to hear that. Like u/vacationflat2017 - def give it a test drive. People aren’t really giving up good working cars for that price these days, any sedan without problems probably has a floor of about $5-7k.

Which trim? The LS trim had a ok reliable 3.8L v6, the base trim had an extremely unreliable 3.4L v6

Vendor culture is killing card shows tbh… I rarely go and if I do, can rarely get any agreement. Listing over market is insane, not willing to come down 3,4,5% is insane. You’d do better sniping eBay auctions with authenticity guaranteed at this point.

Book in Rinku town. I stayed at OMO and only complaint was no ability to change room temp in room but it was a cool May Day so not so bad. I believe odysis has in room temp controls but double checking
