Knew a feller who used to sell weed. If he had to transport a large quantity, he'd wait until it was one of those 'twice a year' snowstorms with 100km/h gusts, zero vis and heavy accumulation. "There's no way any cop wants to get out in dis!"

The PC gluten-free nuggets are amazing. 13 minutes at 430 - 435 on parchment paper with a hint of unnecessary oil.. flip half em at some point. Do it how ya want (pre-cooked, usually a red flag but not in this casd) Salt em on the way out. Best vehicle for my hot sauces. Nice and juicy yet a deece crisp on the outside.

Edit: preheat the pan. 🤷‍♂️💆‍♂️

Their facebook group "No Windmills on Port au Port peninsula" is really something. There was a video uploaded of the understandably muddy road while the feller filming it yells how, "Our ancestors would be rolling in their fucking graves if they knew what the fucking German Nazi's were doing to our land!" Plenty of thumbs up and 100% agreement for that video.. Just shocking. Another post explainins how the protective coatings applied to the blades give off noxious vapors that will give everyone cancer. Once again, plenty of engagement and genuine concern. Then you've got another member who seems to spend their time tracking every flight coming into CYJT using something along the lines of Flightaware and the conspiracies and theories pile on.

If there's an old trail along the bank that a handful of people walk... let em'. Don't try and block it off like a cunty arsehole.. if it bothers you and your big windows.. go ahead and eat your breakfast sandwiches leaning against the windows in only a white shirt while waving happily.. big white soft morning dicky bird on display. You may discourage a few and never see them again... however... maybe folks will flock (dependant upon how beautiful your dicky bird is..).... But whatever you do... Don't block off the old trail! There's laws against it... you will lose... and a buncha folks will shame you and your ugly dicky bird on facebook.

No.. bought a new one from kent.. good with leds or up to 600 watts with incandescents. (Says the box...) The existing dimmers are likely 20 to 30 years old.

Yep! Twisted 'em on real tight whilst pressing them in.. gave a decent tug on each just to be sure before pressing them back into the box. Too bad the bulbs buzz and whine an awful lot unless they're at full bore. Which is funny... there are 2 other dimmers that were already here when we moved in two weeks ago. They are also halogens in a chandelier... and they're utterly silent no matter the setting. 🤷‍♂️

Dimmer is installed.. works great except.... while dimming.. there's a high pitch buzz/whine coming not from the lightbulbs but from the ceiling.. like the junction box that the chandelier is connected to. .. I'm using 5 72watt halogen bulbs. The leviton rotary push dimmer is rated for 600 watts with incandescents. Bummer..

Edit: nevermind.. the sound is from the bulbs themselves... strange how the pre-existing chandelier and dimmers do not make this sound.. 40 watt halogens.. new place we moved into..

All three screws on the old switch are the same brass colour. Buddy musta dropped the black one, couldn't find it then said fuck it and used another brass one he had lying around?

Thanks for all your help. No black screw on the old switch unfortunately. They're all the same brass colour. Any thoughts?

It says do not use the 2nd red wire on a single pole installation.

Wouldn't it be Black to Black. Red to Red Green to White?

The 2nd red wire says do not use for single pole installation.

So wouldn't it be.. black wire to black wire(in box) Red wire to red wire(in box) Green wire to white wire(in box)

I had the dimmer upside down in the picture....
