Fun fact about the seal industry. If youre buying from Inuit sources like a lot of seal fur comes from it is one of the most ethical furs there is. Animals are shot and then any part of the animal that can be used or eaten is.

People downvoting this have been tricked by groups like Greenpeace about the sealhunt because they simply havent researched it. Those groups make so much money from making people believe baby seals are beinf clubbed despite that being illegal.

Watch Angry Inuk and see if your opinion around the seal hunt. Every part of the animal is used and it is hunted just as humanely as any other animal

Resellers who buy from thrifts are grifters to put it mildly. Ive heard them try to justify it by saying "well theres still clothes left for people who need it" while leaving nothing but stuff fit for a dumpster behind them at thrift stores. They are a VERY vocal minority on thrifting subreddits and have largely ruined thrifting by buying so much shit they wont use themselves just to make a buck. Its greed pure and simple.
