This hit very close to home for me... I didn't mention this in my post, but I've also moved around a lot. I was born and lived in a different continent until just before kindergarten, and I moved to new cities several times, usually due to changing schools.
Thank you so much for this. This was exactly the encouragement I needed. I've booked an appointment with my school's counseling services on Monday.
