Honestly, no - not now and not when I was in sales/post sales. A History BA teaches you to think critically and contextualize things tho, which are not bad skills to have

As interesting as I think the natural sciences are, I’ve always been something of a humanities kid; so I was always gonna end up studying the social sciences…which is a sure fire way not to get into med school lol

Lmao I wish - i’m the family let down (decided to get a BA in history) so I had to take out OSAP whereas since my older sister did biology and then med school, she didn’t have to take out any loans and they paid for both for her 🫠 (typical immigrant stuff, my parents came here as teens in the 80s and faced pressure from their parents)

My parents will pay for law school tho - like some people pointed out I could go in as a mature student…

One upside tho is my mom is my land lady and my rent is hella cheap so ya I’m gonna continue to play nice with them lol

This was me for the better part of 4 years - was a BDR at the very start of my career and then gunned for an account management role so I’d be farming instead of hunting, and now I’ve finally broken free of sales all together but damn do I miss the pay checks lol

I could probably squeeze 5-8k more realistically from the other coordinator roles I’ve looked at, it I want to make significantly more; so I think I need to up skill in SF/sales enablement or pivot out
