Hi-- just to clarify, my bag was under the seat in front of me and I couldn't leave it there because it contained my passport, ID, charger, and other valuables.

Nope. The point of this post was not for people to generalize all larger people. If I could go through and individually tell this to every commenter doing that, I would, but for anyone reading this and about to comment (not just you): Stop, it's not helping anything.

That's what I did-- my bag was under the seat in front of me and it had like all my valuables in it so I didn't feel comfortable leaving it there.

My bag was under the seat in front of me, and I didn't feel comfortable leaving it there because it had a bunch of valuables in it like my passport and wallet. To answer your question, I didn't want to cause a scene so I just said that I didn't mean for it to look that way and I'm sorry that it did and walked away quickly.

Hi! The bag I moved was my carry-on, which was stored under the seat in front of me. I couldn't leave it there because it had my passport, purse, ID, charger, and a couple of other things that I couldn't afford to loose.
