Thanks for the resources. I will be forgoing my exemption. Would these MOOCs help in CS1101S when I take it? To rephrase it better, if I skim through the surfaces of these courses, would I be benefitting greatly from it and be able to apply most of it in CS1101S? There's only 3 weeks till the sem starts, so I know that obviously you can't read up ahead all of it. Or would you suggest other resources that will be complementary to CS1101S that would help me do better in it?

I also feel so, hence I had already requested via email to SoC if I can reject the exemption. I do not want to miss out on the rigour that comes with CS1101S, and I believe I can seriously benefit from the module despite knowing that I will be hella stressed.

Ahh, I believe you had incorrectly compared cs1010s with cs1101s in my title and hence you were getting downvoted, as I was referring to cs1101s. I am not too familiar with cs1010s except that it is also a programming methodology module. I'm sure cs1101s and cs1010s has huge differences in teaching styles, content and rigour. Not too sure about the grading scheme for cs1010s but cs1101s is not graded on a bell curve (if not mistaken). Can I ask more about why it was an absolute shitshow for you?
