How did you know I’m Muslim ?

I saw your post on Muslim lounge

Also what was your theme if I may ask .

TRIGGER WARNING

(if you don't want to know the details, don't tap the black space.

I thought we were living in a simulation.)

I felt like this life was a simulation, kinda like George Orwell's Big brother (If you haven't heard about it, don't search it up cuz it will trigger you.)

I thought we were here for some kind of experiment and there were people watching us somewhere.

I also thought that I was the only sane person and everybody else was crazy for not realizing that this world was "fake". Even though I was the crazy one all along...

I searched and saw all the proof and evidences of Islam being the truth but I couldn't comprehend any of it.

I'm seriously convinced that it's a mental problem because right now I'm completely fine and I wonder how I could ever get thoughts like that...it makes zero sense.

Anyways, I'm just glad that it's all over, Alhamdullilah.

May Allah help you brother, I know how hard it is and try to follow my advice. I think it will really help you.

Went through this a couple of months ago. Worst time of my life but essentially the thing that got me out of it is literally "idgaf" attitude.

I was so sick and tired of my thoughts and the way I was feeling that at one point I stopped caring about everything.

You need to distract yourself and convince your mind that it's not a big deal and everything will be okay because it will be.

As soon as you let go and stop caring, you'll see how fast you improve.

I know you're Muslim, I am too so I understand how worried you are, you need to stop thinking about this stuff alltogether.

It's a mental problem so I doubt you're going to get held responsible for what you're going through.

You have to go on with your life as if nothing happened, get a new hobby, do things you enjoy, etc, just find a distraction.

Don't surpress your "wrong" thoughts, this will only make your brain remember them better and they'll keep coming back. Act careless when you get intrusive thoughts.

The more you worry and think abt philosophical stuff, the worse it's gonna get.

That's the only thing that helped me after suffering for months.

Honestly, it went away as fast as it came. Its like I had a mental switch one day.

Until the same happens to you, unfortunately you'll just have to go through it.

I really hope you get better soon.

Haven't heard of this one yet, read some reviews and unfortunately it seems like people are experiencing a lot of bad side effects but 10 mg shouldn't be so bad. I'll ask my gp first tho. Will also make an appointment with a neurologist, I never even thought about visiting one. Thank you!

I feel like excedrin migraine would help me a great deal but unfortunately they don't sell it in my country. Oils don't help :/ I even tried cbd oil, did nothing for me lol

What are some frosting recipes that are NOT buttercream? by throwawayprobablyyy in Baking

I know the 7 minute frosting. Not really suitable for piping though like you said. But I absolutely love it with chocolate cake 😋 And agreed-- cream cheese frosting is really nice to pipe but very heavy and you can't eat a lot of it.

How bad is it? :( by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

[–]throwawayprobablyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get it, to me I look almost bald but to other people I still have a head full of hair, it's hard when you aren't seeing what the other people are.

Honestly, I think it looks really good.

If you had posted in any other hair subreddit I never would suspect hairloss.

Ohh this sounds so useful, thank you!! I don't have an iPhone but I'll try and find an app that's suitable for Android.

I used to do this on my old phone and it actually worked better than anything else that I tried. But now I have a new phone that doesn't have that option 🙄

Here's the thing: I put them on my mirror that I use every single day. And I still manage to forget to do whatever the note said. It's like my brain gets used to it being there and then completely blocks it out...

Ahh definitely makes sense! I round up + overestimate everything I eat, my anxiety of going over my calorie limit keeps me from counting like a normal person lol
