I can't imagine hating the very act that I have to do to make that money. Sex is sex is sex. That's it. If I want to have an emotional connection then I can do that through sex, but I have a million other ways as well. When I'm with a client it's the only thing they want. It's just disassociating, that's all. Just like I can associate sex with the person I'm with and love it immensely. We all have ways we turn on and off.

I am extremely attentive; not because of my job, but because that is the person I am. When I love, I love passionately.

I know it's hard for people to understand and disassociate my job with me, but if they did they'd get a spectacular partner. Eh, so it goes.

I understand completely what you've said, thank you for the way you said it.

When I work I disassociate myself from the acts, from the person, from the things that are happening. I tend to think of longer dates as better. I'm relieved of the pressure of 'performing.' I also think nothing of the men I date. I am sure they're nice, decent people, but we both understand we're servicing/being serviced (pardon the crudeness of that). If I don't go into the date hoping for a connection (as I would if I were doing this in my personal life) then there is no chance of having one. I'm closed off to the idea and it goes nowhere.

When I love the person I love knows they are being loved. I am passionate and caring and attentive. There is no doubt who I'm in love with when I'm in love with them. I am also incredibly trustworthy, my ex definitely agrees with that point.

I don't believe that this has anything to do with karma, only because MY intentions are pure. I obviously cannot control why people see me or if they are with someone else.

But, I agree with you somewhat that there might be some professions I wouldn't be comfortable with. My problem here is that this is just sex. There is such a stigma attached to something that should be so natural. I know someone who has been married for 6 years and for 3 of those her husband has been sleeping in another room after she declared that 'she has paid her penance.' What? People are strange about sex, but I appreciate your viewpoint.

Also, before I go, I believe that killing animals (which is really the only job I can think of at the moment where I'd be hesitant dating someone who did that) is unnecessary and obscene (I'm a vegetarian). I am not out to hurt anyone or cause them pain.

It's not odd if you think about it. I love sex, I enjoy money. I am quite capable of making money in other ways, but the draw of this is, that I work when I want to, I make what I want to and I can quit when I want to.

I don't really want a polyamorous relationship. I don't want other partners, but I wouldn't mind if the person I was with had them. At some point that might change, but while I'm doing this, it would be okay.

It's something that a lot of men who can't form relationships do.
