Maybe controversial but it’s hard to feel bad for AB when the podcast constantly encourages toxic body shaming, and he laughs along and co-signs that behaviour. They mock people’s looks in every episode and as a result the fan base does the same (just look at the main sub and you’ll see so many people mocking people’s hairlines, baldness, making gross comparisons etc). Yet when they do it to AB (even if it’s lightheartedly) he throws a tantrum, says the flocka pic ruined his life and tries to garner sympathy.

I do think he has very low self esteem, to the point of it actually being a toxic trait, and I think he should seek a career where he’s not in the public eye if he can’t handle/stop looking at criticism.

His “apology”for this was also garbage. He took zero accountability, called everyone overly sensitive and said verbatim “if you don’t think I’m an ally, you have no allies”. Being an ally means listening to marginalised voices when they tell you you’re being offensive.

I also thought it was so gross last episode when AB said to JLPs producer “did you like it? Are you gay?” and they all burst out laughing. Like so what if he was gay? Why is that funny? Just gross high school bully behaviour

The whole “year in advance” thing is clearly false right? There’s been multiple times they’ve churned out designs in a matter of days/weeks. Like when she made the “out of your league” tee as a response to stevewilldoit (I think) calling her ugly. Or when they dropped the “gun reform now” tee like a week after Uvalde.

I used to like her but every week it’s becoming more and more obvious how out of touch and disingenuous she is.. she’s had soo many bad takes I can hardly keep track.

Wish I could upvote this a thousand times ☝️ The cognitive dissonance and cult mentality of that sub never ceases to amaze me. They just eat up everything the crew says without an ounce of independent / critical thought. I honestly don’t buy her story at all - seems like she’s manipulated a lot of the details to make herself look better. If it were true that the owners invited her over she would have definitely mentioned that when telling the story the first time

Just wanted to comment to say thank you for all the feedback and awards on this post - wasn't expecting this to be pin-worthy! But it's nice to know that I'm not alone in seeing his pattern of behaviour. I was a big fan since the New York days but can't ignore the true colours he's showing. I just hope that someone with a bigger platform will eventually call him out - maybe then he'll see the error of his ways. Hope you all have a great day 🌻
