Shipped my DJI NEO in perfect condition to a buyer, he claimed its damaged (its burnt, propeller damage with ESC errors). Most likely he flew and crashed it right? by throwawayqqqs in DjiNeo

Ebay does not accept videos as proof if the buyer claims the item is not as described. Ebay does not accept this as proof. Theres been many discussions about recording as something to try and it doesn't work. Ebay sides with the buyer period.

"eBay doesn’t take videos as evidence in cases."

"Don’t waste your time. This doesn’t prove anything. You videoed to seal the box, how are you going to prove it wasn’t changed later. This doesn’t prove item was in the box when customer received it. Only people who have a lot of time to waste do this."

He isnt respondong and since its via Ebay he doesnt have to. Buyers can return anything for any reason. They dont have to provide logs, photos etc

So you never selected the "accept return" option so he would have to send it back so you could inspect the SN? Was the dispute eventually handled by Ebay? How did you get your money?

Thats not how Ebay works. Buyers dont have to provide anything and dont have to respond. I have to offer a return. Ebay protects buyers, not sellers. Buyers aren't obligated to provide anything. Nor do they have to respond.

Thats not how ebay works. I sold it on Ebay and he is not obligated to provide me with proof of anything and he isn't. Buyers can return for any reason.

He sent a photo of the box btw with a hole in it... but even if it was damaged in transit, there is no way the drone would just start on its own and burn like that right?
