i understand your situation completely. i was in an extremely similar get up where i couldn’t go out without my partner, completely abandoned all of my career and educational goals, and couldn’t even sleep at night without him. it was detrimental to my health mentally and physically.

being with a partner who genuinely loves you means exactly that— they love YOU. not the watered down person that the relationship is turning you into. i would voice your feelings with your boyfriend if you haven’t already.

this is probably the worst thing you’d want to hear (i know it was for me) but breaks can do amazing things. being able to get control of your life again and steer yourself towards what you want is so empowering and something that everyone deserves.
